March for Racial and Economic Justice MLK National Day of Action – Tuesday, April 4th

Tuesday, April 4th @ 4:30 – 6
Joseph C. Wilson Foundation Academy
200 Genesee St, 14611 Rochester, NY

In the spirit of Dr. King’s Legacy, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists and Metro Justice present: A Day of Action in Rochester for Economic and Racial Justice!
ROCDSA is an endorsing organization; our members will be meeting under the red flag.

The struggles for economic and racial justice have common cause in fighting the disastrous toll that 400 years of slavery and segregation, combined with 40 years of anti-union policies, has had on black and brown people in this country.

We ask the Rochester community and other allies to stand up together and fight back against racism and demand an end to poverty wages.

They aim to intimidate patients seeking basic health care and encourage the Trump administration to defund Planned Parenthood’s services. Come out to stand up against them and to protect reproductive rights. Come out to defend bodily autonomy. Come out to keep uninvited rosaries off our ovaries!

RADS will join Black Rose/Rosa Negra and other community partners as we display our strength, unity, and collective will to rally against the reactionary forces at work here in Rochester.
